We have become a recycle centre for Velorim the national tyre and tube recycling scheme.
We hope to help reduce some of the 44,000 tonnes of tyres and tubes that go into landfill each year and help reduce the damage to the environment that is caused as a result. Velorim have found a variety of uses for the materials that tyres and tubes are made of such as safety flooring plus uses in construction and in insulation. In addition, the rubber can also be re-processed into new materials that can be used to manufacture new products.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
To cover our costs, there is a small charge.
Cost: 50p per tyre 20p per inner tube.
Cost to collect from home/business: £2.50
Payment must be made in advance and we cannot take cash, so card payments only.

- Book a drop-off time at our Safestore location (Argyle Way SG1 2AD)
- Book a collection from where you live/work (Stevenage/Great Ashby addresses only, if in doubt please ask!).
